This is the new tablet PC in the market, made by a Malaysian company. The name is Ezy Tablet PC, powered by Intel Atom N270 CPU at 1.6GHz, has 10.2-inch multitouch display with Intel GMA graphics for sharper and crystal clear view. I bet this specification make is simmilar to other netbooks sold in Malaysia, only separated byt its multitouch display screen. No, this one doesnt uses Windows XP, it was installed with Windows 7 starter pack, I suppose.

Quanta Computers get $97 millions selling laptops

Quanta Computers, the biggest laptop maker (by contract) gained profit of $97 millions on April 2010 after successfully shipped 4.5 million notebook computers in the same month. The record is the highest, beating well known laptop makers such as Acer, Dell, HP, Sony. Dell in the largest computer maker in the world, this crowned as the richest computer maker on the planet, but this latest news doubt it all. Dell has a new rival now.

During this upcoming holiday season big web companies promote themselves "offline" to travellers, especially laptop users. Google is working hard in seducing thousands internet user and to make them fall in love with Google's web apps, Google's free products and free services (like me with this blog!) by providing free Wifi "hot-spot" access in 47 airports accross America until 15 January 2009.

Microsoft gives free Wifi access to several hotels and airports as a strategy to promote their new "bling-bling" search engine called Bing (rebranded from LiveSearch). More US residents travel frequently on November and December 2009 to celebrate Thanksgiving and and Christmas season with their family. Waiting time in the airport is the perfect spot to advertise business "offline" aggressively for Google and Microsoft.

3 top netbook sellers

ABI Research, a company specialized in doing market research produced a report on netbook sales, which focused for year 2008. Its senior analyst, Jeff Orr said 74% of netbooks sales are coming from the 3 top laptop brands - Acer, Asus, Samsung as stated in ITManagement website. For me that report does not makes me wonder only one thing, I wonder why Samsung becomes third largest netbook seller. I assume Hp will get that 3rd title, but I"m wrong!.

Asus is the first tech company who produce the earliest netbook version in the world called by name Asus Eee PC installed uses Linux OS and has only 10GB HDD storage capacity. Acer? No wonder too, because Acer has regional office almost in each country in the world including Malaysia. Just like I said before, most Malaysian youth and pro workers choose to use Acer until Acer being called as "underdog" laptop - they are cheap and widely used.

Intel pays Dell 6 million dollar for not installing any other chip

Intel pays Dell 6 million dollar in rebate for 5 years long since 2007 as a return of not to install any AMD chips in their laptops, just Intel chips. IBM and Hp is among the list of laptop makers that receive large money from Intel, paying them so that those laptop makers will not install AMD chips in any of their laptops. I saw this as dirty trick done by Intel, thus Intel draws their own bad business image. Its a cowardy image.

Vista sells more than Windows 7 in the computer market

A report from BrainstormTech said that Vista sells more than Windows 7 does. This is really interesting. Why does that happens? I think because Windows 7 is still new in computing market and not so many laptop users prefer to buy laptops with a new-and-unknown Windows 7 OS in it.

New laptop buyers still want Vista installed in their machine, they have big doubt about Windows 7 capability so they want to wait for several months more until middle 2010, waiting for other people's feedback and opinions about Windows 7, after that they will upgrade their laptop to Windows 7 with full confidence.

Hardware specification in netbooks make it almost impossible to install Windows 7 because the new Windows 7 requires higher graphic capability which is most netbooks dont have. What happen if netbook installed with ope source OS? I think Windows 7 will have to face hard competition.

Dell laptops-Dell Inspiron Z has no word on offical release and price

I've read some talk around internet community rumouring about Dell planned on producing another light and thin laptop named Inspiron Z (Inspiron Zorro, maybe? Or Z for "size zero?"). From what i read, actually Dell Inspiron Z is still in progress, no word about when it will come out officially, how much its price will be.

Dell Inspiron Z were netbook laptops after Inspiron Mini 10 and Inspiron Mini 10v laptops - consists of Inspiron 11z, 14z and 15z siblings that are not so thin but kinda small.

Their code number is their screen size. Means 15z is for 15" Inspiron Z, 14z is 14" Inspiron Z and 11Z is the 11" Inspiron Z. The sign " means inch, if you see it anywhere. 11" is 11-inch.

Paper laptop? Naaahh..never heard of it. How can be it all paper? Paper laptops can be easily damaged, water sensitive and will go ot of shape within weeks, or even days!

This idea of paper laptop is good. But, it needs plastic parts for its motherboard, battery, USB ports, Wifi ports and some small corners to pluck in screws of its hard drive. Other wise, its hard drive may falls out and damaged.

However, i support this idea. The outher body of laptop can be made of recyable paper but not the inside. Other than recycleable, its paper body can be designed with many type of creative design our arts can produce. Its skin can be changed regularly similar to a baby diapers, better prepare some money for it.

If the keyboard made from paper, it will becomes out of shape within hours because of stream of sweat runs out from our fingers. Hmm..paper laptops are not recommended for hardcore bloggers and rugged tech workers.
