Toshiba laptop-Toshiba Satellite T135 CULV review

Toshiba Satellite T135 installed with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS (you can imagine its power!), the processor is Intel Pentium SU4100 processor with processor speed at 1.3GHz 2MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB (not Intel Atom as expected). It has 4GB DDR3 RAM system memory, upgradeable to 8GB limit, a 13.3 inch screen with 1366x768 screen resolution lighted up with LED backlight. This netbook laptop was categorized as a CULV - Consumer Ultra Low Voltage mobile computing machine.

About the HDD storage capacity, Toshiba Satellite T135 has 320GB HDD with 5400RPM spindle speed, stereo speakers, its graphics powered by Intel Graphic Media Accelerator 4500 with shred graphic memory up to 1759MB (1.75GB), also come along is Bluetooh 2.1 with EDR, Realtek wireless driver for quick Wifi access, LAN port for broadband internet cables, 3 Highspeed USB 2.0 ports for quick connection with other digital device - mp3 players, mobile phone, PSP, mp3 player, camcorder, digital camera or mobile broaband modem such as Celcom Broadband..er, as long as it uses USB. You can test world's first USB 3.0 thumb drive in this laptop, or a Koala shaped USB flash drive!

Just like all usual netbook, Toshiba Satellite T135 has its own touchpad with the touchpad buttons below it (for left and right clicks). Its has Lithium Ion battery with battery life of 9 hours, overall weight at 3.88 pound, 1.35inc thickness, sold at $709.99 US Dollar (about 2, 484.97 Malaysian Ringgit). That price still high for a 13" netbook!



The design at beautiful, available in Red, Black and White outer skin color. Toshiba Satellite T135 has glossy finish (vulnerable to easy scratches) one-touch power button with ergonomic fingering shape, full sized QWERTY keyboard, audio ports for earphone, external speakers, headphone and microphone, together with its own RGB external monitor output, HDMI ports, a 6-in-1 memory card slot.

If you want to buy its external optical drive to play/read/write DVD, CD or Blu-ray, Toshiba USB Portable DVD SuperMulti Drive ready to be by your side, only sold separately. But, if you think you dont need that optical driver yet, just ignore it. Go on with your computing jobs.

I was happy with Toshiba Satellite T135, its price is the only one thing I really arguing about. But, if compared logically, it suits the specification and the design very well - powerful spec and beautiful laptop body. Can be used to do office jobs, student assignments, light home entertainment, non-3D gaming, family web browsing (as a webbook), creative web designing. Not suggested for heavy gaming.

If I compare Toshiba Satellite T135 with Hp Pavillion, i can say its a good replacement, suitable choice for a middle-level budget, only lack its own internal optical driver.

Thanks for visiting my site and thanks for being my friend. I'm just new in blogging, and the fun just gets started! I've stumbled upon new things, meet new friends and learn new knowledge everyday. You know something, i'm not a architect-typical geek. I'm not really deep into specs, but i love latest tech and what it can do for us.

At first I eagerly want to know what is latest laptops in the market. I start digging the internet, collect latest informations I got than save them as my personal collection in a personal folder. That what I did everyday. One day, an idea struck me. Why not collect it all in one blog?

Since 1997, i've started learning computers. Desktop PC around that time was sooo expensive. My family PC costs my father RM4,999 with its own PC rack - no printer, no scanner, no rescude CDs, no CD-burning either.

Then, i went to university, learning a diploma in finance but couldnt do my best. I just grade with average point, after that becomes a vivid job hunter. Didnt stay long in a job for more than 1 and a half.

Right now i'm jobless young lady. This blog has been around since April 2007 given to me by a close friend of mine.

She gave up blogging for a day job that pays her well. Well, thanks to her, now i've found a place where i can nurture my passion, meet some new friends, especially You!

Actually my English is not right. My family is not English-speaking. I grew up in Malay Muslim family, being the first child and become the only one who love books, computer and swimming. I prefer US English in my writings.

Being a Malaysian girl not a big obstacle for me to keep learning on English. I do my best to learn English every day, memorize new words, keep writing on blog like i did now and keep reading English articles. The first blog that I read was Digital Inspiration by Amit Agarwal.

I came to that blog regularly since 2007 simply because i want to know some useful software and read what's new. Amit Agarwal becomes my inspiration since that time.

I always be curious. I'm curious about laptop - what in it and what's on it, what's new out there..what's happended lately and what's came out lately. Thats why I've found blogging is fun!

Reading about laptop is my passion, writing about laptop gives me personal satisfaction, keeping up with the latest news gives me some thrill to run for.

Google celebrates 40th brithday of Sesame Street

While i was a kid, i love watching Sesame Street.

They are the first tv program i've come across to learn english. When i was in school i always fail in English - from there i've decided to learn that language as best as i can, since my age at 9. I've always remember the tall Yellow bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster and his friends.

Today, Sesame Street has do alot of wonders to many kid from around the world, just as i am when i was still little back then. Thanks Sesame Street!

Google Malaysia

If you've come here to know where Google Malaysia office is, honestly said i really dont know.

I've searched accross the internet juts like what you did several minutes ago - using any search engine possible, Yahoo, AskJeeves, Live Search (now Bing) among top three.

But, i still cant find Google Malaysia office address. I emailed Google and receive no answer from them. Maybe Google didnt want to reveal their Malaysian office address and contact details, not yet till time is right.

Asus laptops-Asus G51J3D and G72GX 3D gaming laptops

After Acer released their first 3D laptop which becomes world first 3D laptop in notebook class, Asus now follow the path by releasing 2 new 3D laptops tuned for gaming, they are Asus G51J3D and Asus G72GX as stated in report from Softpedia.

Asus G51J3D has 15.6-inch screen and Asus G72GX has 17.3 inch screen size. Gamers will enjoy 3D experience indoor or outdoor using both laptops.

I still have doubt about how long its battery life will be and how far the performance is compared to new Acer 3D laptop. No need to worry about enjoying outdoor gaming anymore. You can play favorite games anywhere, at anytime! If both gaming laptops support wireless LAN, any laptop user can play 3D gaming with their friends, in 2 player mode, or even 6 players!

Those 3D gaming laptops installed with Intel Core i7 processor chip, uses graphic card from Nvidia - NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 160M with 1GB graphic memory to be exact, 4GB DDR3 memory on their motherboard, 320GB dual hard disc drive for maximum performance.

Asus said if those two laptops used to watch movies for a group of people, the 3D feature will enable their eyes to have easy viewing on the screen withourt ever need to worry about viewing angle. They does not talk about these laptops' price. I will wait for comparison between Asus 3D laptop and Acer 3D laptop, which one is the best.

MSI X-Slim laptops become Amazon.com best seller

Since MSI released their new laptops in X-slim series, such as 13" X-Slim X340 laptop, 14" X-Slim X400 laptop, MSI gained huge popularity. The proof? MSI X-Slim laptop becomes best seller in Amazon.com according to Hardocp news report.

Amazon.com is the biggest internet shop in the world who sells anything include laptops on any kind odf brand. The first time MSI showed their X-Slim laptop series to the world was at CES (consumer electronic show) Las Vegas on January 2009.

Sony laptops-Sony Vaio X review

Sony Vaio X has think design, skinny and flat. No curvy corner like Apple MacBook air. The touchpad was removed on Vaio X505 model, substituted with traditional, old design pointer joystick like we see in old time laptops during the year 1999-2000. Some Vaio X model still has touchpad on it.

Its keyboard was invented using latest design, the "scrabble" keyboard - each keyboard characters are separated between 1-2mm each, making it easy to be cleaned from dush and small ashes. You will make some typo mistakes during the early days you use it, but your finger will allign properly with the keyboard position.

Luckily its touchpad button still available in the bottom of the keyboard not in left or right side, like most latest netbook laptops. Sony heard what its user demanded! Sony Vaio X has 2 HighSpeed USB 2.0 ports in its left side, along with LAN port and exhaust air vent for its cooling syste. Its connectivity options similar to other laptops - Bluetooth, Wifi, you know the deal.

Its a very suitable netbook laptop for anyone who love thin design like Apple MacBook Air or Dell Adamo. But, its so sentisive like other thin laptop does, so take care of it well. Its so durable to heavy vibration or heavy shock - you need to put it always on top because for me, Sony Vaio X looks fragile.

Sony Vaio X is my favorite, at this time i have no money to buy it. My dream is, someday i wanna but Sony Vaio X and i will write best review to help you get the best out of any new laptop we have come accross.
