Greetings my friend..how are you?
This is Lya Qisteena. My Malay name is actually written as Lia Nadia Qistina but many of my online friends call me by name "Lya Qysteena" especially American friends from NY, call themselves NewYorkers. I have friends from other places too but that's another story. Lets get close and personal, shall we?
The first thing i wanna say to you, from the bottom of my heart is, Thank You..
Thanks for visiting my site and thanks for being my friend. I'm just new in blogging, and the fun just gets started! I've stumbled upon new things, meet new friends and learn new knowledge everyday. You know something, i'm not a architect-typical geek. I'm not really deep into specs, but i love latest tech and what it can do for us.
At first I eagerly want to know what is latest laptops in the market. I start digging the internet, collect latest informations I got than save them as my personal collection in a personal folder. That what I did everyday. One day, an idea struck me. Why not collect it all in one blog?
Since 1997, i've started learning computers. Desktop PC around that time was sooo expensive. My family PC costs my father RM4,999 with its own PC rack - no printer, no scanner, no rescude CDs, no CD-burning either.
Then, i went to university, learning a diploma in finance but couldnt do my best. I just grade with average point, after that becomes a vivid job hunter. Didnt stay long in a job for more than 1 and a half.
Right now i'm jobless young lady. This blog has been around since April 2007 given to me by a close friend of mine.
She gave up blogging for a day job that pays her well. Well, thanks to her, now i've found a place where i can nurture my passion, meet some new friends, especially You!
Actually my English is not right. My family is not English-speaking. I grew up in Malay Muslim family, being the first child and become the only one who love books, computer and swimming. I prefer US English in my writings.
Being a Malaysian girl not a big obstacle for me to keep learning on English. I do my best to learn English every day, memorize new words, keep writing on blog like i did now and keep reading English articles. The first blog that I read was Digital Inspiration by Amit Agarwal.
I came to that blog regularly since 2007 simply because i want to know some useful software and read what's new. Amit Agarwal becomes my inspiration since that time.
I always be curious. I'm curious about laptop - what in it and what's on it, what's new out there..what's happended lately and what's came out lately. Thats why I've found blogging is fun!
Reading about laptop is my passion, writing about laptop gives me personal satisfaction, keeping up with the latest news gives me some thrill to run for.
Blogging should be about passion and friendship.
That is my personal manifesto.
