Rumours is up now. iPhone 4 will be upgraded into iPhone 5. Recently, internet users seems to battle among themselves about the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G, which the device is the most widely used tablet laptop in Malaysian mobile market especially among professional workers. The recent version of Samsung Galaxy Tab uses Android 3.0 that powers up 3G internet connection. When the 4G version will comes out, still not be told and still a mystery. Samsung will update their Android 3.0 into Android 3.2, but the blue Sammy still does not tell us when officially the long-awaited-update will show itself to the loyal users.

LG introduced their new tablet laptop with new technology LG Optimus Pad - the 3D recording content generator tablet, which makes life becomes good!. This sweet Android tablet can record videos and capture real life images then saving it in 3D format, the feature unavailable in other tablet laptop also in iPad 2 either. LG Optimus Pad is the first 3D content table laptop in the world. Its is also the first 8.9-inch tablet laptop sold in Malaysia at RM2,199.

LG Optimus Pad runs on Nvidia 1Ghz Tegra 2 dual core processor chip and features an 8.9-inch WXGA display with a 1280×768 screen resolution,it has dual-array 5MP rear-facing camera placed about 1.5-inches apart of each other for 3D video recording and photos. The dual-5MP camera is capable of shooting 1080p 2D or 720p 3D videos.

Celcom is offering LG Optimus Pad at RM1,668 (but you need to sign up for a data contract with Celcom) via two different broadband packages. Details about those packages were as follows:

1.Celcom Broadband Basic offers 4GB of data a month for RM68/month (12 month contract).
2.Celcom Broadband Advance with 6GB of data a month for RM98/month (12 month contract).

These two packages kinda helpful. Instead of buying LG Optimus Pad at price of RM2,199 you can now buy it as low as RM1,668 (you save more than RM400!). Just be a Celcom Broadband customer and you can get LG Optimus Pad in lower price compared to usual offer in local computer shops.

Here is a new comer in 10-inch tablet laptop brotherhood - Toshiba. Toshiba is well known in Malaysia for its netbook laptop (which has power-on button in the middle section of the netbook while other netbook brand has power-on button located at the left of right side). Toshiba introduced their new tablet laptop named as Toshiba Thrive, installed with Android 3.2 Honeycomb, the same operating system installed in Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Motorola Xoom and Acer Iconia A500. The new Toshiba Thrive's lowest price in Malaysia was RM1,287. The 32GB version of Toshiba Thrive priced at RM1,685.00. Yes, this new tablet laptop come in 3 different version of storage capacity just like the iPad 2 - the 8GB version, 16GB version and 32GB version. Each version of Toshiba Thrive sold separately at different price.

The new Andoroid 3.2 will come out soon with several new features. The first tablet laptop that will be installed with this new operating system is Motorola Xoom. Andoroid 3.2 is the latest update of the recent version, Android 3.0 which also code named as Honeycomb. Dont know why Google called Android code with that kind of name, but it is catchy to spell, easy to remember. Motorola Xoom will be the first tablet to get this update, while the other tablet laptops from other brands will get it later. The existing users can get Android 3.2 via automatic update feature installed in their tablet laptop or go to the nearest computer shop to install Android 3.2 into their device.
