Secure Your Personal Data With Firewall

Firewall is the computer's internal program that blocks digital traffic from the outside form entering your pc. If you're using windows, firewall are installed by default.

Default firewall by Windows protects you form malicious threats and unauthorized users to get acess into your data. Apart from built in firewall, you sholud turn off the "Remote Assistance" function because enabling this feature will make your pc usable for anybody else via internet line from somewhere else.

Using firewall alone is not enough. Hackers can get trough Windows firewall easily using some code and custom built software.

Here's some tip to protect yourself..

1. Turn off Remote Assitance and Remote Desktop. Unknown remote user may access your computer,plant some troan virus, worm and steal personal data.

To turn them off, Open Control Panel, click System Properties and go to Remote functions.

2. Turn on Automatic Updates. This will make your pc download latest security update form Microsoft and make your computer more vulnerable.

3. Install additional firewall. My recomended firewall software is Comodo Pro 3.0

You can also use McAfee Internet Scurity Suite, plus personal firewall, anti virus and anti spyware. Most updated antivirus software nowadays come with built forewal protection such as Norton, Pc-Cillin, Panda, Kaspersky and AVG professional.
