Andorid 4 Ice Cream Sandwich vs iOS5 - The New OS This September 2011

Google will rush out the production of Andorid 4, code named as Ice Cream Sandwich for tablets and smartphones to compete with iOS 5, latest OS that will soon be released in September 2011. The iOS 5 (also called as i Operating System) is an OS for iPhone and iPad made by Apple while Android is an open source operating system made by Google. Now Android is widely used in netbooks and tablet laptops, the popular Samsung Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom and HTC Flyer installed with Android 3.o, code named as Honeycomb, the interface is similar to the image above.

Andorid 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich scheduled to be available in late September or in middle of October 2011, while iOS5 rumoured to be available during the same period of time. Its Google versus Apple, Android 4 versus iOS5, who gains advantage? The user. They will get more speed in any device they use, more technologies, more new innovations, more decrease in the price (maybe).

Dont know if Windows Phone 7 OS can compete with Android and iOS. Acer Iconia Tab w500 is the only tablet laptop installed with Windows 7, others installed with Android OS.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 - New Tablet Laptop Will Be Availabe In Malaysia

Good news! Samsung will introduce their new tablet laptop to Malaysians, named Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 or calles as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (in the video) thus adding new siblings to the Galaxy Tablet laptops family in Sammys' house. Samsung Galaxy Tab is popular here in Malaysia due to its pocket sized cubic shape, fast performance and multimedia rich contents (videos, music, audio, internet, all in one place). Not to mention it is a lot, lot, lot cheaper than Apple iPad. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 will be pre-loaded with mp3 tracks from Amazon.com, which will be available in Malaysia in October or November, at least during early January 2012. The predicted price for Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is RM2,559, while predicted price in USA will be $853 Dollars. It will be sold in India during August and September 2011.

About the basic hardware specification of Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, this new tablet has 8.9-inch capacitive slate touch screen, 3 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera equipped with LED flash, 2 megapixel front facing camera with 720p video, 1GHz dual core processor, Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system (will updated to 3.2 soon), Facebook app, A-GPS, WiFi enabled, Bluetooth 3.0 capability, and 1600Mah battery for 6 hours usage.
