Bing Malaysia is not located in Bing.com.my, while Google Malaysia does located in Google.com.my. Google understand us more than Bing, so that is what their domain name uses dot my extension.
Bing Malaysia's official web address is www.bing.com/?cc=my.
I think this web address designed that way so more people use Bing United States (www.Bing.com) rather than local Bing searches, such as Bing Malaysia. Not many Malaysian internet user aware of this differences. Bing is the new name for Live Search, Microsoft's search engine.
