Intel, the most famous processor chip manufacturer on the planet is now focusing on tablet laptops, maybe to get ahead from its closest competitor, AMD. After Apple iPad released to public, tablet laptops becomes hugely popular because of its sensitive touch screen, colorful display screen with minimal no need of a keyboard.
Intel sees that the demand for tablet laptop will increase in the future, thus enable Intel to gain more profit from there by selling new kind of processor designed espeacially for tablet laptops. Other than AMD, Intel will have to compete with Apple computers in gaining market attention for tablet laptops. Apple designed, create and manufacture their own processors for iPad.
