This is a new webcam produced by Blue Microphones sold at Amazon.com at $69.34, about RM242.69 in Malaysian Ringgit. Whats unique is, the webcam has a large microphone as you can see in the image, similar to the usual micorphone design we see at karaoke outlets and usual microphone used by singers.
Surely Blue Microphones has strong reason to put their webcam microphone that way instead a small one just to catch our voice, for example mini microphone used in mobile phones. To use Eyeball 2.0 is easy. Brings it out, put it on a corner of your laptop lid then connect it to into your computer using its USB cable.
Microphone position can be adjusted back and forth, either you want to use it in 60 degrees or in 90 degrees for better video and clear voice. About the small camera, it is 2 megapixel digital camera and catch video in HD image, can be set to use for large screen resolution up to 1600x1200 pixel. But, we doubt how clear the video will be and how well this webcam sells despite its freak design. Maybe your friends will laugh when seeing the big microphone on a webcam.
