I dont have any idea where the word flurge came from, maybe from a tv show, a commercial, advertisements or maybe from YouTube, Facebook or any Twitter updates somewhere.But the word "flurge" has spread widely around the internet. Flurge can be written as flurg, flerge, flerg or also as flerj. They all have the same sound. To me flurge is when you "pluck out" something, for example from your ear, pocket or mouth. Then you can say, "i've flurged my earphone".
