Let Us Understand What Is A Software

From what i've come to understand all these yeard as daily computer user, i defined software as a piece of computer program that can do some task. The software was being created to perform a job. while the process of completing the job was controlled by the user.

For example, lets say you want to type an assignment. Your lecturer gives you a question and you must answer in 3 pages. The, the ideal software to perform the job is Word processing software. You can choose variety of software, either you want to use Microsoft Office word 2003, Microsoft Office Word 2007 or Open Office Write.

OK, let me give you a second example. Lets say you want to hear your favorite MP3 song, titled From This Moment sang by Shania Twain. You can choose variety of MP3 players software or any media player software that can play songs in MP3 format.

The best option to choose is playing your favourite song using Windows Media Player 11, the default media player in Windows. Or, you can choose to play your favourite song using Winamp, audio, video and music player.

How to use software? To use a software, decide first what you want to do. Do you want to draw a picture? Play a list of 30 favourite songs? watch a video, type a formal letter to your clients? Or broswing the internet?

If you have already decided what you want to do or knew what your job is, decide which software you want to use to accomplish your job. If you want to open the internet and read your favourite website, then you can use Internet Explorer, Mozilla firefox, Safari, Opera or Google Chrome.

Software is a tool for us to finish our work, to entertain ourself, to learn something new, to educate and to communicate with friends and family.
