Google Earth Malaysia - How To Quick View Google Earth 5 Using Browser Plug-In

Google Earth is a free Earth viewing computer application for windows PC, Mac and Linux computers. With Google Earth, you can quick view any places on Earth from your computer screen using their satellite images (you can view your house neighborhood!). Sneek peak on several famous Malaysian building such as Menara KL, Menara Telekom or Petronas Twin Towers from the sky, now!

Make sure your computer meets hardware requirements before downloading Google Earth 5 free software. For Windows Xp, Windows Vista or Windows 7, there minimum requirements are as follows:

Minimum requirements to install Google Earth 5:

• Operating System: Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7
• CPU: Pentium 3, 500Mhz
• System Memory (RAM): 256MB
• Hard Disk: 400MB free space
• Network Speed: 128 Kbits/sec
• Graphics Card: 3D-capable with 16MB of VRAM
• Screen: 1024x768, "16-bit High Color" - DirectX 9 (to run in Direct X mode)

Recommended: hardware settings for the best viewing in Google Earth 5:

• Operating System: Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7
• CPU: Pentium 4 2.4GHz+ or AMD 2400xp+
• System Memory (RAM): 512MB
• Hard Disk: 2GB free space
• Network Speed: 768 Kbits/sec
• Graphics Card: 3D-capable with 32MB of VRAM
• Screen: 1280x1024, "32-bit True Color"

If you dont want to download Google Earth 5 in Malaysia (stand alone free software) because you think it is heavy of you dotn have much time, use the browser plug-in for quick viewing.

Google Earth Plug-in is highly compatible with most modern browsers today such as Mozilla Firefox 3.6, Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 8, Flock, Safari 5. However, Google Earth Plug-in may not work on several browsers such as Opera 10 or the newly released Internet Explorer 9.

Google Earth Plug-in installs automatically in Google Chrome browser (version 5 and above) and Mozilla firefox 3.6 (the old Firefox 2 also can!).

However, the view is only in small box only. I've posted my screen-shot in the image below (pelase click it for larger view).

As you can see, my Google Chrome 8 browser tells me that I'm successfuly installed Google Earth Version 5.1.3509.4636. It takes only 2 minutes to finish the automatic install.
