How to create new Gmail account

Lets say you want to open up new Gmail account for a friend, for your younger little brother or for your parents who are not computer literate.

Opening new Gmail account is free, it takes minutes to do it. To start, go to Gmail log in page at 'mail.google.com'. At the bottom section of the screen, look for the silver button named 'Create an account'. The button is similar to the image below.

After clicking on the button, it will brought you to the registration page, you need to fill in the forms. You can use any name you want, other than your real name.

Make sure you have another email other than Gmail account (such as Yahoo Mail, Hotmail account) as recovery email. If not, Google will not approve your registration to open up new Gmail account.
