The free Avast 5.0 anti virus is now uses translescent pop up message to tell you it has updated its virus database to the latest edition. Some people may found these screen notification (comes out from your Taskbar) quite annoying, but not for me. It is very useful, because we tend to keep forgetting simple things like updating our anti virus internal database.
