Bing search - why the name is Bing?

For me, the name Bing derived from the word 'Bingo', means that's right, or ah-ha!. I want to tell you why Microsoft used that name.

I think Microsoft uses the name of Bing so that millions of people will remember it, such as Yahoo or Google's name, which sounds like kiddies name.

Microsoft wants Bing as easy thing to remember, catchy, fun and spellable by anyone, even 6 year old kids to 66 year old granny. Bing goes fully alive in the internet as search engine starting from 3rd June 2009.

In huge business world, it is not surprising such a huge company using kid's strategy wo win huge battle over the internet usage population. Even small name like 'Bing' can give a huge impact, especially when it comes to gaining small bits of popularity beside Google.
