You finally bought your own iPad weeks ago and want to enjoy watching movies, videos, clips and podcasts on a larger screen right from your iPad. Unfortunately, iPad does not has a VGA port for you to sync it to larger display (tv, projector or VGA computer screen).
Verizon-iPhone.com demonstrated how you can connect your iPad to a larger display screen using a VGA adapter connected into iPad via a dock. When you look at the video, iPad provides the control while the real enjoyment is on the other screen.
For example, when playing YouTube videos, iPad displays the video's control such as Pause, Play and video length on its sensitive touch screen, while the other screen (the VGA one) displays the content of the video. You will hear the sound, watch the video moves when played.
iPad VGA adapter is very helpful. Currently I have no info how it will be available in Malaysia.
You can order the VGA port online for the price of $29, equals to RM92.80. If you live in US, you can order iPad VGA adapter right from Apple online store. The same trick works for iPhone 4 too, if you want to watch videos on larger screen via the same dock.
