Nokia Dopplr

Dopplr is a start up company from United Kingdom, its main business is focused on travel network, to connect travellers who share the same passion about travel. We can say Dopplr is a social site for travellers, a site where travellers hang out, share past and future travel stories. We never heard of a mobile phone company acquring such site.

Maybe Nokia wants to combine its own communcation product package with travel package from Dopplr, or widening its product influence, making communcation and travel become unseperateable parts.

We need mobile phones and any communcation device while travel, dont we? Maybe, Nokia users can access travel information, stories and any info alike from Dopplr's site as preparation before they start their own travel.
