Malaysian 3rd satellite, Measat 3-a successfully lifted off to space from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, in 5:30 local Malaysian time. The satellite owned by Measat Broadsact Sdn. Bhd, popularly known as Astro. Measat 3-a enhances growth of communication and broadcasting service in Malaysia, thus enable Malaysia to be placed alongside the level of advance countries in communication, technology, innovation arena.
From that, Malaysian people will enjoy faster internet service that from its current level of broadband speed, also enable them to enjoy more television channels provided by Astro.
