In Firefox 3, you can change the default search engine (Google) to Wikipedia search or into any other search engine such as Yahoo, Amazon or Creative Commons. You dont have to go to Wikipedia homepage and type your search in their search box. Instead, you can save time and energy by doing Wikipedia search using your Firefox only when Firefox started up in your computer system. In top right corner of Firefox, change the search engine to Wikipedia (en). Then, type any search keyword you want, press Enter and you will be forwarded to Wiki search result page when the result appeared.
