We opened two browser to test its speed, Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox 3. Then, we set the homepage to Google Search. Every time those browser starts up, they will open Google homepage and we record the time, also the feeling.
We were very excited when we found Google loads faster in Firefox 3 than in Internet Explorer 7. The laptop we use to run the test was Acer Aspire 4310, powered by Intel Celeron M with 512MB of RAM, using XP Professional service pack 2. Google still loads faster in Firefox 3 even when we run the test using Windows XP Home Pc with Intel Dual Core processor, 2GB of RAM.
