From my personal experience, here is reasons why Mozilla Firefox better than Internet Explorer.1. Mozilla Firefox is free, an open source browser. Firefox can be downloaded anytime, by anyone from anywhere, updated regularly and more improvement is being done to make Mozilla Firefox better and faster.
Mozila Firefox allow its user to download latest test version and install it, before it is officially released.Internet Explorer is not a free browser. Usually, it comes along with Windows operating system, either Windows Me, Windows XP or Windows Vista. Unlike Mozilla firefox, you can test latest Internet Explorer that still in develpment or on Beta phase.
2. Mozilla Firefox can be customized with thousand of add-ons. You can change Firefox skin into any design you want and into any colours you want.
Built in search engine in Mozilla Firefox can be changed into another search engine, such as Wiki search, AOL, Amazon, Ask.com, Live Search or any search engine available that suits your need. But, you cant customize Internet Explorer layout, skin, browser colour and install any 3rd party add-ons you want.
3. Mozilla Firefox is free from any virus script released by sites that contains them. But, Internet Explorer can be infected by by any virus scripts and internal codes because those virus scripts are created using the same Active-X used in Internet Explorer.
Until today, no internet virus, virus script or malicious code sript can infect Mozilla Firefox of downloaded themselves trough Mozilla Firefox, because most virus codes are created to suits Internet Explorer.
4. You can download YouTube videos using Mozilla Firefox directly into your computer by using add-on name Video Downloader Helper. You must install the add-on first into Mozilla Firefox, restart your Firefox for the change to take effect.
