Google Android was originally created by Google as an operating system for smart phones and mobile phones. But, if greeny Google Android being installed in a laptop or netbook, it might be opens up another different story, especially if Dell rumoured they will do it.Its just like install Symbian opearating system used in Nokia N95 into a new Dell Vostro. Can Google Android replace Windows or Linux as an operating system in laptop or netbook?
What difference it will bring maybe? Android is a Linux-based Google opearting system for use in mobile devices.
In my opinion, with Google Android as operating system in Dell laptop or maybe many other laptop after this, the production cost of laptop maybe go off lower than usual market price. Laptops and netbook will become a lot cheaper.
Making Google has a chance to dominates laptop market. Currently T-Mobile phones named T1 uses Google Android as its OS (operating system).
That would be an interesting move by Dell...what could they be gaining with that...especially given the small market share of Google Android right now. Also T-Mobile Android phone is not very popular yet :D)
