With fast save, you can save more time with saving your Word document faster than before. How to activate fast saves feature in Microsoft Word? Here's how.
1. Open your Microsoft Word program. Go to Tools and clik Option.
2. A dialog box will appear, contained tabs titled with General, View, Edit, Print and Save. Click Save tab.
3. Next, go to Save option. Remember, you can only use one option between fast saves and create backup copy. For me, i always use fast saves feature because i have my own backup schedule for every Word document that i've created.
4. Click allow fast saves option. Click OK to close to dialog box.
You can press Ctrl + S key if you want to use keyboard shortcut to save Word document without clicking to File - Save.
