How To Enable An Image As Windows Desktop Background

When you open an image, you can actually use it as your desktop background. While explaining this, we use Windows XP service pack 2 as an example. In Windows XP, the default software program for viewing images is Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

When you open a folder contains multiple images or various images (My Pictures folder for example), it will be displayed with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer icon, the one with sundown in the evening icon picture. Try click an image to display it.

When the image appear to its default size, bring your mouse cursor to the middle of the image and the right click. A menu box will appear. Look at middle. Find this command "Set As Desktop Background". Click it.

Then, the picture you've opened will be set as the desktop background image. To choose another image as the new desktop background for your computer, do the same trick again. This is the basic, easy trick.
