An icon was being used as a shortcut to a particular program, a folder or a file. Acer Malaysia recently released their new tablet laptop named Acer Iconia. Acer Malaysia released two major version of Iconia - Iconia touch laptop (with virtual keyboard) and Icona Tab. Iconia Tab has two different versions - Iconia Tab W Series and Iconia Tab A Series. Acer is the most preferrend new laptop brand in Malaysia especially among students and college undergraduates. Acer ICONIA Tab W series aimed for entertainment and typing works. Acer ICONIA Tab A series aimed for internet works and it uses Android as its operating system - typing, internet surfing, open YouTube, emailing, Facebook. Price between RM1599 to RM3,699. Quite affordable.

Acer laptops - new Acer Timeline X

Acer upgraded their Timeline brand into the new Timeline X laptop series. The new series come with new Intel Core processors you can choose from suits your personal budget - Intel Core i3, i5 and i7. The operating system will be Windows 7 Home Premium, which I say downgradeable into Windows Xp service pack 3 or Windows Vista Home Premium.

Acer said the new Timeline X designed to has lighter, faster, sharper display, longer battery life. One of my dream laptop is an Acer Aspire Timeline.

I love its thickness, its lightness and its powerful computing engine. I fonly google Chrome was being released by now, I will install my Acer Timeline laptop with it, so no virus will harm my data.

Among Dell Adamo XPS, Apple Macbook Air or Acer Timeline X, I will choose Acer Timeline X because Acer's internal spare part for their laptops is widely available here in Malaysia. The service cost is a lot cheaper than the other laptop models made by other companies such as Dell, Hp, Sony, Toshiba, Nokia or Lenovo.

Timeline X price will be 1,900 Malaysian Ringgit and above, aimed for business users, professional workers, advanced user who prefers tri-combination of speed, style and lightness.

LG R590 3D - first LG's 3D laptop

Life is good, having your own LG's first 3D laptop is very good! LG introduces their new and first 3D laptop, code named LG R590. The laptop comes with its own 3D glasses for free.

Acer laptops - new eMachine EM350 netbook with Windows Xp

eMachine is a new brand name in netbook market, actually eMachine is a subsidiary of Acer (2nd largest computer maker in the world). eMachine introduced their new netbook code named eMachine EM350.

The netbook installed with Windows XP operating system, which in my experience operates faster compared to Windows 7 starter edition when in a netbook. The processor for eMachine EM350 netbook is Intel Atom N450, comes together with Wifi driver (802.11b/g/n WiFi) surely added with Acer's SignalUp technology, USB ports for external plug and play devices, 10 inch dipslay screen, 1GB RAM.

The hardware specification is much alike with Acer Aspire One's hardware, upgradeable by eMachine EM350 user as an option. My respon, anything comes out from eMachine is a lot cheaper than Aspire laptops, giving huge advantage for any laptop buyer with small budget but with big hunger to get connected into the internet.

I dont know what reason pushes Acer to produce a new netbook under eMachine brand while Acer already gained strong market hold and user trust via Acer Aspire One laptops. If compare to Dell Inspiron Mini 10 or Samsung NC10, Aspire One netbook is much popular here in Malaysia, with eMachine EM350 netbook, Acer tries to dig deeper.

Acer introduces their new netbook (a small laptop) called Acer Aspire One 532. This cute little laptop has long battery life, up to 10 hours.

Acer Aspire One 532 installed with Windows 7 (starter pack) operating system, which the disadvantage is the OS does not allow you to change background image. I recommend you change the operating systom to Windows Xp (service pack 3) for more customization and for more speed.

Acer Aspire One 532 processor chip is Intel Atom N450, its has WiFi wireless internet detector to enable you get connected into the internet anywhre you go. More, this laptop has optional 3G configuration, an added feature just like I saw in Nokia Booklet 3G.

If you are a small laptop user who prefers style and colorful design, Acer Aspire One 532 has three optional body color for you to choose - black, silver and red. I prefer the black color.

New laptop-Colorful s101 New York netbook laptop with automatic vertical screen

At the first time i see the word colorful, i think its just "colorful", word with no meaning -just colors!. But when i look back carefully, its actually a brand name for a netbok laptop maker from China. Colorful has produce a new netbook laptop with screen size at 10" (inch) code named as Colorful s101 new York. Catchy name!

What's a new feature in Colorful s101 netbook laptop? Its screen will rotate automatically is you held the laptop vertically like in the image above. Fantastic. Means, if you want to flip this laptop vertically to make it stand steadily, you will get a nice, tall, skinny screen view.

As a laptop user, this feature benefits you in a certain way. You can make this laptop stand up right like reading an opened book, start enjoying movies, video clips, anime videos, read an eBook, a blog page, watch a YouTube video or simply listen to favorite mp3 tracks while you're doing something else in your house, in college class or on work desk. I think its quite unique if compared with screen feature offered by Litl Webbook which has a rotateable screen to 180 degrees backward but still maintains its horizontal screen view.

Colorful s101 has an accelerometer and a custom built software that makes its screen rotates automatically even you hold it up to its side. The accelerometer is also said to protect Colorful s101's hard drive from any kind of shock, it will turn off the hard disc temporarily if it detects the laptop falls down from something, according to news source from Liliputing.

Looks like this featured technology is very similar to HDD shock absrober technology used by Toshiba in their netbook laptop such as Toshiba NB200, NB205 and Toshiba's gaming laptop the Toshiba Qosmio X300.

Colorful s101 New York hardware specification is perfectly similar to most netbooks, its powered by Intel Atom N270 processor with speed at 1.66Ghz, 160GB hard disc drive (HDD), weighted at 1.1kg, its RAM is 1GB, limited to 2GB.

Dell laptops-Dell Adamo XPS launched officially sold at $1799

Here's the news laptop lovers are waiting for! Finally, Dell lauched their thinnest laptop ever, Adamo XPS. Dell Adamo XPS was created for Dell as laptop maker to compete with Apple MacBook Air, which becomes the first thinnest laptop in the world. Now, Sony Vaio X was being created by Sony to compete side-by-side with Dell Adamo XPS, which Sony claims as "thinnest laptop in the world".

The new Dell Adamo XPS sold at starting price of $1,799 eventhough several months ago Dell say they will sell Adamo XPS at $2,000. Dell Adamo XPS installed with Windows 7 64-bit OS, and its overall thickness is only at 0.4 inch with 13.4-inch screen size, total weights more than 3 pounds. Toshiba laptops-new Toshiba Satellitte L150-S432 review

Meet rugged, 14" (inch) laptop from Toshiba, the Toshiba L150S432. Its shape is more square with a minimum rounded corners. Its using a magnetic lid to 'lock' the screen to laptop body when the lid is closed or when you shutdown the laptop.

Toshiba Satellite T135 installed with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS (you can imagine its power!), the processor is Intel Pentium SU4100 processor with processor speed at 1.3GHz 2MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB (not Intel Atom as expected). It has 4GB DDR3 RAM system memory, upgradeable to 8GB limit, a 13.3 inch screen with 1366x768 screen resolution lighted up with LED backlight. This netbook laptop was categorized as a CULV - Consumer Ultra Low Voltage mobile computing machine.

About the HDD storage capacity, Toshiba Satellite T135 has 320GB HDD with 5400RPM spindle speed, stereo speakers, its graphics powered by Intel Graphic Media Accelerator 4500 with shred graphic memory up to 1759MB (1.75GB), also come along is Bluetooh 2.1 with EDR, Realtek wireless driver for quick Wifi access, LAN port for broadband internet cables, 3 Highspeed USB 2.0 ports for quick connection with other digital device - mp3 players, mobile phone, PSP, mp3 player, camcorder, digital camera or mobile broaband modem such as Celcom Broadband..er, as long as it uses USB. That price still high for a 13" netbook!



The design at beautiful, available in Red, Black and White outer skin color. Toshiba Satellite T135 has glossy finish (vulnerable to easy scratches) one-touch power button with ergonomic fingering shape, full sized QWERTY keyboard, audio ports for earphone, external speakers, headphone and microphone, together with its own RGB external monitor output, HDMI ports, a 6-in-1 memory card slot.

If you want to buy its external optical drive to play/read/write DVD, CD or Blu-ray, Toshiba USB Portable DVD SuperMulti Drive ready to be by your side, only sold separately. But, if you think you dont need that optical driver yet, just ignore it. Go on with your computing jobs.

I was happy with Toshiba Satellite T135, its price is the only one thing I really arguing about. But, if compared logically, it suits the specification and the design very well - powerful spec and beautiful laptop body. Can be used to do office jobs, student assignments, light home entertainment, non-3D gaming, family web browsing (as a webbook), creative web designing. Not suggested for heavy gaming.

If I compare Toshiba Satellite T135 with Hp Pavillion, i can say its a good replacement, suitable choice for a middle-level budget, only lack its own internal optical driver.

Laptop computers-Paper laptop

Paper laptop? Naaahh..never heard of it. How can be it all paper? Paper laptops can be easily damaged, water sensitive and will go ot of shape within weeks, or even days!

This idea of paper laptop is good. But, it needs plastic parts for its motherboard, battery, USB ports, Wifi ports and some small corners to pluck in screws of its hard drive. Other wise, its hard drive may falls out and damaged.

However, i support this idea. The outher body of laptop can be made of recyable paper but not the inside. Other than recycleable, its paper body can be designed with many type of creative design our arts can produce. Its skin can be changed regularly similar to a baby diapers, better prepare some money for it.

If the keyboard made from paper, it will becomes out of shape within hours because of stream of sweat runs out from our fingers. Hmm..paper laptops are not recommended for hardcore bloggers and rugged tech workers.

Tablet pc-Archos 9 new mini tablet pc

I was so excited at the first time i've stumbled upon Archos 9 because it looks like a portable MID (mobile internet device) - cant figure out exactly how to call it - mini tablet pc or mobile internet device? Judging from its spec, i agree it is a mini tablet PC.

New laptop-Litl Webbook laptop

You dont know Litl Webbook because its produced by Litl, a new laptop company in the world based in Boston, California. This little 'webbook' was created to be used as family MID (mobile internet device) enable them to easily view shared photos in Flickr, search for images via Google Images, keep in touch with Twitter, find new friends on Facebook, enjoy funny videos from YouTube, read popular sites via RSS Feeds.
