Apple Macbook laptop - Unibody MacBook launched in Brunei
Brunei Darussalam is a Muslim country, a close neighbour to Malaysia. BruDirect new release reports that new line of Unibody Macbook laptop is launced in Brunei by AV Electronics Sdn Bhd, Apple Macbook dealer for Brunei region. Apart from the official release of latest Apple Unibody MacBook laptop, they also released other Apple-branded electronic products such as iMac desktop computer and Apple Magic Mouse, world's first multi touch mouse.
However, the news didnt say how much the selling price of Apple Unibody MacBook in Brunei. Unibody MacBook sold at $999 US Dollar, equal to RM3500 Malaysian Ringgit available from Apple Malaysia online store.
Gigabyte laptop - Gigabyte Booktop M1220M with 6 USB ports
This new laptop from Gigabyte installed with Intel Atom N270 processor with processor speed at 1.6Ghz. It has 1GB DDR RAM capacity, 160GB hard disc drive storage capacity, 11.2 inch screen size with 1024 x 600 screen resolution. Its called "booktop" because its a netbook laptop that stands vertically like a nettop when inserted into its dock.
Gigabyte M1220M is the world's first netbook with 6 usb ports - 3 in the left and another 3 in the right. Gigabyte designed this netbook with its own docking port similar to what we seen in nettop (a small cpu) just like Acer Aspire Revo or BenQ Eco Lite U121.

Samsung laptop - Samsung prototype netbook laptop with AMOLED screen
During FPD International 2009 - a consumer electronic products exhibition, Samsung introduced their first laptop in netbook class installed with AMOLED screen display.
Actually, it was still a prototype. If it is really released officially for sale, Samsung netbook will become the first netbook AMOLED screen display.
This netbook comes with 7 inch screen size, small, super thick and super skinny. But, i'm not very sure if many laptop user comfortable enough when laying their fingers on the small keyboard installed on this Samsung netbook, especially for guys with fat fingers.

Acer laptop - Acer Aspire AS1410 budget notebook
Acer released their new laptop, the Acer Aspire AS1410 series. Those laptops in this series are budget laptop in notebook class. A laptop in notebook class usually sold at $485-$2,100 US Dollar, around RM1700-RM7,900 Malaysian Ringgit.
Acer sells this notebook at $399, about RM1,400 Malaysian ringgit. The price is close to netbook's price range with the same battery life on 6 hours such as Aspire One, Fujitsu Lifebook, Dell Inspiron Mini 10v, Asus Eee PC and Hp Mini.
