Honda personal hovercraft robot for easy transport
New robot from Honda. This one created in shape of small hovercraft, personalised for easy transportation in office or any other flat ground. It was not just an overcraft, but a robot too. To sit on it, just pull out the flipped chusioned saddle, put your butt and start riding. To control the hovercraft movements, to swing your body to left, right, front or backward. I think this hovercraft robot moves in 5-10 km per hour.
Toyota Violin-playing robot
Toyota unveils thier latest robot called as Violin-playing robot. Then name quite awkward for me. Why use that name? Toyota should some kind of robotic name just like any robot maker use - Asimo for example. Toyota news release said they will focus on improving the robot's hand gripping speed and finger movements to it can moves it's own fingers smoothly just like we do, to hold a remote control, to grab somthing or to press different code on violin string to make different tune, which can make full song. Robotic technology founded by Toyota will be used widely in automotive indstry, especially in providing more smart, safer vehicles.

SnackBot
SnackBot's job is to bring you the food in a tray on his hands. This cute robot created by passionate team at Carnegie Mellon University. Snackbot does not has a pair fo feet, instead, it moves around on wheels, dont know how much wheels SnackBot has. SnackBot created for home and family, i think and made for the purpose to study how robot interact with human in master-servant way. While Robovi-PC created to make desktop PC becomes mobile and walks on its two cute feet, SnackBot serves food and anything suitable for humans to eat by rolling around. Can SnackBot understands what we say and how it responds to us?

iRobot's Chembot the chemical robot can transform into various shape
iRobot, a company specializing in buildiong robots has created a new soft morphing robot, this one is different because it was a chemical robot - soft like a gel when touched. Its one-of-a-kind the shape shifting robot. The idea is to create a robot that can walk smoothly in tight spaces such as below the door, and as easily as in flat ground. Chembot outer skin was made from silicon and the shape can be transformed via taking in air just like when we breath and push it out to take another different shape. Easy to say, by controlling air inflation and deflation.

Two wheeled robot and mini helicopter robot act as military spy
UK Army revealed two spying robots. One is the small robots with two wheel and a spy camera, which enable the person who controls it to see enemy's real time position on its small display screen.

The other one is remote-controlled mini-helicopter robot installed with spy camera, the UAV or Unman Air Vehicle. I wonder if the fying robot make some noise while flying?.

These two cool robots can be used in home too, just in case yout want to find out what you're husband doing in the house, just in case he is making love with new girlfriend.

Smart robot - small autonomous robot with neurological-based control system
Anything spelled with the word "neuro" means something realted to human brain or anything similar to it, or some electronic device with its own brain made from Artificial Intelligence (AI) modelling human brains's movements and biological works.
Roger Quinn introduces a cool autonomous robot which has control system similar to our brain controls our organ, a neurological-based control system. Means, this small robot control its body consciously. Its does not has a official name yet at the time of this writing.
This robot is different from Galileo smart robot we covered before, also another robot such as OmniZero 9 robot with ability to transfrom into a small car and transport one person on top of it, the Robovi-PC the walking desktop computer, the Japanese Chef robot with mechanical skill to cook Japanese Pancake.
The neuro modelling invention of this autonomous robot will opens up more techological advancement in robotic, the technology may become useful for human safety, military or even for quite helpful for our mom to help her manage the house.
Robovi-PC robot is the Intel Atom powered PC in walking robot

Look at Robovi-PC as a walking desktop PC or a netbook with a pair of moving legs similar to your own. Robovi-PC has its own central processing unit which contains its processor, keyboard and mouse stored in its "stomach" and a pair of standing feet to make it walk towards you without any hassle in just matter of seconds.
Maybe someday to can make our netbook walks around just like this robot, controlled by remote joystick so we dot need to put it somewhere permanently for several hours, for example on aour working desk. Robovi-PC robot was created by Vstone, using Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz and runs Windows XP in its central body besides compatible with Vista and Linux OS too. The price? Its 399,000 Japanese Yen, about $4,400 in American money, thats about RM15,400 Malaysian Ringgit.
How Robovi-PC may becomes useful gadget, an important tool to us? Imagines having Honda Asimo as your working buddy. Its worth the purchase because you can move Robovi-PC anywhere you want, which added mobility into your working technology.
However, no one mentioned about its power source, how it recharged its battery power, what type of bettery used by Robovi-PC. We think Robovi-PC internal parts can be upgraded to with additional hardware to enhance its working power. Go Robovi-PC!

Nissan EPORO robots moves like a fish to prevent crash with any obstacles

Nissan, a renowned Japanese car producer made a robot that mimicks fish movement. The robot moves smoothly, balancing its body fest to right and vice versa while passing other car on the road, similar to a fish moves toward another fish, passing it smoothly while moving the water. Nissan EPORO robots can moves in a group together and in the same time avoid obstacles without collides with each other, just like group of fish. The robot gained it sensitive sensor to identify any potential obstacle using laser technology. EPORO intelligent robotic technology can be applied to any cars in the future, to make cars handles any obstacles during potential crashes.

Mobile wifi robotic webcam - WowWee Rovio Mobile Wi-fi webcam

This robotic wifi webcam produced by ToysRUS and uses wifi connection to connect itself with your laptop or your desktop computer. WowWee Rovio has wifi signal reciever on its back. The blue lights in WowWee Rovio's body lights up automatically when the camera is active.
Camera lens has 5 megapixel capacity and WowWee Rovio moves wherever you want it to go to on its wheels just like a robot. WowWee comes with its own software to control its movement form your laptop screen thus giving you webcam mobility. You can see images from the camera even you're in sleeping room, see who's coming and who's going. Effective spying tool.

OmniZero.9 Robot Transform Into A Moving Vehicle
If you watch Transformers movie you may wonder which category this robot is. From the video above we can say the orange robot is the good Autobot. OmniZero.9 is a new robot that transforms into a rolling vehicle (and vice versa).
This new robot can stand like a human and then transfrom into a small car, or a shape similar to a car from certain type of view. The robot stands 3.5 foot tall, weights at 55 pound. OmniZero.9 can carry a person and moves anywhere.
But we doubt if the robot can perform much complicated task and move to gravel ground, and what the purpose of its creation really?. Compared to Asimo, OmniZero.9 created with much advance robotic technology.
The technology learned from the robot can be used in military, defense or national security and it can enter places where human cannot go. The source didnt tell us how long the robot's batter can last and how long for us to recharge it back. Maybe this robot can become useful for family and friends more than just used to have fun.

Galileo Robot Moves Around With Both Wheels And Tank Tracks
Galileo Mobility Instruments created a climbing robot that uses both wheels and tank tracks to move. From its shape and moving style, we can say this robot suits most as military unman vehicle, to save lives, act as a spy or surveillance device which you can put cameras and communication device on it. Or, maybe you can put Galileo Robot in your son's bedroom to watch either he is opening RedTube or reading Engadget.
Galileo Robot originally moves with 4 wheels but changed its tyres into tank tracks when encounters any blocks or any terrains. The developer says they want to use the technology gained from the robot to build an advanced wheel chair that can moves up the stairs and similar surfaces. Maybe they can try it with 4 wheels motor bike too. The video helps you to understand more.
