ChromePlus Download

What is Chrome Plus? It is a free to download web browser made by Maple Studio and it is different from Google Chrome made by Google. ChromePlus built based on Chromium, the same engine that powered Google Chrome, making it has all functionality as Google Chrome. ChromePlus comes with new functions, and some of them quite similar to Google Chrome also to Chrome OS.

First, the address bar is combined with internal search engine. You can search anything by typing any word into the search bar. You dont have to open up Google Search page. ChromePlus web browser also has IE Switcher, which enable you to change into Internet Explorer viewing style after you click the button. Thousands of several web pages are written for Internet Explorer, thus makes them hard to read on non-internet explorer web browser.

Another new function is ChromePlus is Restore History button. YOu can reopen your last closed tab by clicking this button. When clicked, ChromePlus will open up the last viewed web pages listed in easy drop down menu. Just select which web page you want to view, click it and the page you selected will be opened in another new tab. Another trick is to view your recent history by pressing Ctrl + H on your keyboard.

Google Chrome OS Operating System Released 15 June 2011

Google Chrome OS released to the public since 15th June 2011. Google made a business deal with Samsung and Acer to make netbooks installed with this new operating system. The name of the two netbooks is 'Chromebook', you may call it as Samsung Chromebook or Acer chromebooks simply because these netbooks installed with nothing but Chrome OS bundled built-in basic apps. To get to know Chrome OS, imagine you are now using Google Chrome web browser. Each application you open in Chromebook will be opened in a new tab, which you can open up 20-100 tabs at once just like running 10 programs at once while using Windows OS.

This mean you can open your Facebook, Gmail, Twitter, blog, Wikipedia, YouTube, and Reader all at the same time. Google Chrome operating system and the Chromebooks still not marketed in Malaysia but it will be introduced here within the end of year 2011 if there is a demand from local computer user. Chromebook laptops will now have to compete with iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab and other Android powered tablet laptops. You can add more functions and applications (called extensions) into your Chrome OS from Chrome Web Store, located via a link at the bottom of the screen,as seen in Google Chrome web browser.
