This is the first netbook from Toshiba. I call it a laptop in netbook class for you to easily categorize many varieties of laptops - notebook class, netbook class, nettop class and the latest is, booktop just like we see in Gigabyte Booktop.
Actually, Toshiba Japan released some netbook netbook modelswith Japanese letter keyboard before Mini Notebook NB200. For example, Toshiba DyanaBook SS that i'm using now. Its my old laptop, installed with Windows XP starter pack at the first time i bought it. I've upgraded the operating system since then. I will review Toshiba DynaBook later in another post.
Toshiba Mini Notebook Art NB200 has 10.1 inch screen size, weighted at 1.18kg similar to Dell Inspiron Mini 10v and Hp Mini Pink. It was small, compact, stylish and attractive with its chorome finish just like you see in the image. Look at its screen holder.
Below the Toshiba brand name you will notice a glossy shiny rod design, making Toshiba mini notebook NB200 looks a lot different from another laptop in netbook class (you can call it netbook laptop also).

Toshiba Mini Notebook Art NB200 installs genuine Windows Xp Home Edition service pack 3. The processor is Intel Atom processor chip with processor speed at 1.66Bhz, 512KB L2 chache, 667Mhz FSB.
To determine how fast a netbook can run, just look at its processor speed in Gigahertz (Ghz) measurement unit. Well, Toshiba Mini Notebook Art NB200 meets user standard performance of netbooks. You wont regret.
This laptop has 1GB DDR2 SDRAM internal memory, 160GB hard disc drive with "Toshiba's shock absorbers HDD technology", built-in standard webcam, Bluetooth version 2.1 with Enhanced Data Rate, ergonomic full sized QWERTY keyboard with "scrabble" keypad design just like what we see in Sony Vaio laptop, 2 USB ports, speaker and microphe jack, LAN port, wireless driver, Intel GMA950 graphic driver, LED backlit screen.
In the front side of Toshiba Mini Notebook Art NB200 you will see a hard disc protection with built-in 3D accelerometer. Each time its hard disc is busy, you can see how much its burden was in the accelerometer, just like seeing how fast a car engine can run. Interesting stuff for a small netbook!
For my final conclusion, Toshiba Mini Notebook Art NB200 is a good laptop in netbook class. Its a middle level performance laptop just like other similar netbook laptop.
Toshiba Mini Notebook Art NB200 created mostly for online activities, to be used by internet enthusiasits, web journalist and bloggers. Its small size enable you to be connected to the internet anywhere at anytime, the battrey last up to 7 hours too just like Acer Aspire One, Acer Ferrari One and other netbook class laptops.
