The CEO of Acer, Gianfranco Lanci said that Acer is now on track to surpass Dell in selling computers. Right now Dell is most famous computer seller around the world due to its direct-marketing style and very good customer support via Dell's online support site, Twitter or even at Dell store. Acer comes close to that statistic. Acer is leading computer brand in Malaysia - schools, professionals and business entities turning their focus to Acer for its low proced laptops, low proces replacement parts and low service costs. Dell is good to, only a few Malaysian computer outlet brave enough to sell Dell computers. I dont know why, but most Dell computers is quite expensive, its replacement parts and service cost is expensive too. Acer is fast in delivering cheap laptops - from the fact that Aspire One gain massive popularity.
