In YouTube blogs, engineers and YouTube staff share their thoughts with you, honest and open. This is the only place they broadcasting their own future plans, discussions, rumours about YouTube and stories between them. Its worth a visit, because YouTube blog updated regularly so you wont miss out whats new.
For Google, i think its better for us to read Sergey and Larry Page blog because we love to know whats happen about them, their insight, their thoughts and their personal opinion on what happens around the internet. For large companies, public user doesnt get a chance to get close to people who start a history, such as Sergey Brin and Larry Page. Maybe Google founders can post their daiy rumbling. We are more than happy to read it, just like reading daily thoughts of Barack Obama or Najib Razak.
