On 27 April 1791 is the birth date of Samuel Morse. His 218th birthday was celebrated by Google on 27 April 2009. Samuel Morse is the inventor of Morse code. His works improves telegraphy service and he is also introduces Morse code, a systematic way to send and receive message via telegraph. His invention widely used at that time, before telephone cables are used around the world.
