Acer is a big name in Malaysia. Acer Iconia is a name synonym with tablet laptops such as Acer Iconia A100 (an Android tablet laptop) and Acer Iconia Tab W500 (Windows 7 tablet laptop. In another side of technology world, Acer will released their new smartphone named Acer Iconia Smart. Pretty cool name! Acer Iconia Smart will be sold starting September 2011. Don't know if this is true, no official word yet from Acer, no video advertisement either in YouTube or in any image around the internet.
Acer Iconia Smart is a big sized smartphone. Our source does not reveal what version of the operating system Acer Iconia Smart will use. But the sure thing is, the OS is Android. Acer Iconia Smart has Wifi and 3G (HSDPA) connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1 and micro-GPS, micro HDMI port, micro-SD card slot, audio powered by Dolby Digital, as seen in several Acer Aspire laptops. The expected price of Acer Iconia Smart still unavailable.
