Using iPhone as tv remote control is very useful. Why? we always lost our remote control. We always forgot the last place on we put that remote control in our house. As solution, RedEye provides their own iPhone app that able to change tv channels, useable on any kind of tv.
To make it work, you need to purchase the $188 RedEye device then download RedEye iPhone app from iTunes. Put the device between your iPhone and your tv.
When you start using the app, your iPhone will send a signal via Wifi to RedEye device and the device will change tv channel via infrared signal to your tv for the purpose of changing channels and anything related just like using ordinary tv's remote. You need WiFi internet to use iPhone as tv remote control.
