How Powermat wireless charger works? From what i read in ElectricPig coverage, Powermat wireless charger works by sending in electric charges via the body of the gadgets into their battery for example iPod, handphones, PDAs.
The report tells us that PowerMat is working on new version of their wireless charging mat - made for netbooks. So when Powermat wireless laptop charger comes out, we can simply put our laptop on the mat, wait for its conformation sound then forget it for a while, then start doing other job.
This technology will enable us to save more time and more weight, thus in fact helps improving productivity. We dont need to carry heavy charger adapter anymore. We have covered the similar wireless charging technology in Dell Latitude Z, the first full sized notebook rechargeable wirelessly.
