Pepsi AMP iPhone app removed

We have covered story of Pepsi AMP iPhone app several days ago. Finally, Pepsi decides to remove their iPhone app due to heavy critics from around the globe, especially from iPhone users. Associated Press reported that Pepsi is apologized for the inconvenient caused by the content of the app.

Although it was officially removed, the app created big buzz around the internet especially in Twitter discussion. Pepsi gained huge exposure for its new energy drink from the issue. Another marketing tactic is by creating controversial tech issue - and thats what Pepsi did, successfully.
