NEC is working on their own tablet PC. NEC tablet PC will come with Wifi and 3G internet access, making it similar to internet device sold in Korea and Japan. Brand name, code name and launch date still unknown at this time of writing.
It has 3 functional buttons, a 8 inch touch screen, and unknown operating sytem. NEC still does not reveal full hardware specification. On thing for sure - they invented this prototype tablet PC mainly for business users.
I think when a tablet PC created for ordinary user, it will sold in million units. A tablet PC is handy, easy to use compared to laptops. Tablet PC is actually a laptop will full size screen using pointing device for user to replace mouse and on-screen keyboard to replace traditional QWERTY keyboard found in ordinary laptops and notebooks.
