There is a difference between Google.com and Google.com.my. Thus, making Google News is slightly different too. Google News Malaysia is focused more on news around Malaysian internet arena giving updates on what happens on Malaysian politic, economic, culture and its people. But, Google News covers more broad topic, especially on news around United States, Silicon Valley and internet start-ups. If you're Malaysian and want to read Google News brought to you in a Malaysian sight, feel free to open up Google News Malaysia Edition. If your Google homepage was set to Google.com.my, click on to News section and you will be forwarded to Google News Malaysia Edition. In the top right corner, you can switch to other country in single click.
