If your computer installed with AVG 8.0, when updating its internal virus database, there is a possibility your AVG 8 crashed, stuck for a while and displays message written as "avg invalid update control ctf file". This is because the update file is corrupted. Here's the solution to fix that problem.1. Uninstall current AVG 8.0 from your computer. Make sure you use CCleaner to uninstall it for clean and smooth removal process compared to usual uninstallation from start menu. Restart your computer.
