AVG Technologies Is The New Name For Grisoft

If you're familiar to AVG antivirus you will also become more familiar with the company's name and software maker, Grisoft.

According to the company's site recently, they are now change their name to AVG Technologies. Grisoft website address and the company's physical location is still te same.

The Czech Republic company change its name due to market strategies. Right now AVG antivirus is the third leading brand behind Norton and McAfee in United States's market alone.

Means, they wanna make their brand more recognizeable around the woeld especially in United States, China, Korea, India and Japan (where this areas have high internet users in number).

Many computer users choosing AVG antivirus because of it's friendsly interface and easy to understand functions. Believe me, after using AVG Antivirus for several months, i have to admint that AVG antivirus is easy to install and it was more 'lighter' during start up process.
